Another week at ppf

Morning anu went ambalanthota and I had to fill petrol to the car.
Later prepared to go for the wedding of janaka uyan and thilini. Randeewa was firing as clmb ppl were late. How ever we are already too early for the wedding. I was asked to buy breakfast and bought 17 items of vegetable out of 30. How ever since non veg ppl has also eaten vegi items, randeewa was missing a second vege item. Some how after he found one vege said, I am lucky as found a vege item else I will loose points. Now a days no evaluation, it may be just a joke. But I'm not cool with it.
While in the wedding sanjeewa said harshana is a bright guy unlike me. I said yes yes
I am the poor product. Najila was nearby. They said I am been angry. I was realy angry. They are just kidding and can think it as kidding. But I am nt feeling it simply as a jole.

While having lunch, janaka wee was having a chat and asked whether I remember abt the drama we had two years back. That day he was discussing with me and had some things on thilini and me.
I simply said, "atheethay sihinayak pamanayi. SAbA suwandak nA"

On the way, bus got breakdown on front wheel brake and it was dark returning ppf

Amal was giving fun while on the way.
I am feeling as it is not good being him a pet to others.

Hll annual trip

Day 1
I participated to this year to the hll annual trip which didn't in last two occassions after joining holcim in 2011 march
So far it is a good expweriance compared to the trip experiances with geocycle itself.
No time rushes, no stress and relly cool

Started the journey on 11th oct fron seeduwa, had a snack in morning hours, breakfast at CHC ambepussa rest house, lunch at ramboda falls.
Came to nuwara eliya grand hotel around 4pm.
Went to dinner around 9 and returned back around 10. Some dances was happened but I didn't stay much.

Day 2
Had a nice and cool breakfast. I expected to have a walk around the garden but unable coz had to rush to leave ambewela farm. We went in a small tata bus coz buses we came are too large to travel in the way to ambewela farm.
Once stepped outside the bus, came in to mind, it was better to bring a cap. There was wind and mist around. Stepped to see cows, bulls, rapids and omitted goats.

Returned to room, had a small sleep and took the lunch. Evening session plan is to visit haggala garden. It is raining around and thus decided not to go haggala qand stay in the room for evening.

I watched few documentaries in nat geo, one about indian wild cloud leopards and another abt plane crash. Then we slept till morning. I was feeling lazy to participate the dinner party.

Day 3
Went to the breakfast and no body has notified that two of us were not at yesterday's dinner. If this was a geocycle event, I will be hammered.
After the breakfast wen out a bit, stepped with janaka, pankaja, took some photos. Anu ride on a pony. Hope she enjoyed it as she was hoping it for quite some time.
We have to checkout by 12:45 and leave here around 2:15.

Returning home was cool and nice. Came home around 8.30. Bought noodles on the way prepared noodles together. Anyway it was 11 passed when sleeping after washing clothes.

In general I enjoyed the trip and very much nice compared to a geocycle trip if it supposed to be.

How Net Run Rate is calculated in WC 2011

A team‟s net run rate is calculated by deducting from the average runs per over scored by that team throughout the competition, the average runs per over scored against that team throughout the competition.

In the event of a team being all out in less than its full quota of overs, the calculation of its net run rate shall be based on the full quota of overs to which it would have been entitled and not on the number of overs in which the team was dismissed.

Note: Any play during a one over per side eliminator is excluded from these calculations.

Only those matches where results are achieved will count for the purpose of net run rate calculations. Where a match is abandoned, but a result is achieved under Duckworth/Lewis, for net run rate purposes Team 1 will be accredited with Team 2‟s Par Score on abandonment off the same number of overs faced by Team 2. Where a match is concluded but with Duckworth/Lewis having been applied at an earlier point in the match, Team 1 will be accredited with 1 run less than the final Target Score for Team 2 off the total number of overs allocated to Team 2 to reach the target.

In circumstances where a match (and the points for such match) is awarded to a team as a result of the other team‟s refusal to play, either by the umpires in accordance with Law 21.3 (a)(ii) or in accordance with the provisions of the relevant event agreements signed by the participating teams, the net run rate of the defaulting team shall be affected in that the full 50 overs of the defaulting team‟s innings in such forfeited match shall be taken into account in calculating the average runs per over of the defaulting team over the course of the relevant portion of the competition. For the avoidance of doubt the runs scored and overs bowled in such forfeited match will not be taken into account when calculating the net run rate of the team to whom the match was awarded.

Couples and Married Life..!

* Men want 3 qualities in wives: Economist in kitchen, artist in home & devil in bed. But they get artist in kitchen, devil in home & economist in Bed.

* Q: Why do women live longer than men?
A: Shopping never causes heart attacks, but paying the bill does!

* Before marriage: Roses are red, sky is blue. U r beautiful, I luv u.

After marriage: Roses are dead, I'm blue. U r my headache, one day I'll kill u.

* Getting married is very much like going to a restaurant with friends. You order what you want, then when you see what the other person has, you wish you had ordered that.

* Man: Is there any way for long life?
Dr: Get married.
Man: Will it help?
Dr: No, but the thought of long life will never come.

* Why do couples hold hands during their wedding?
It's a formality just like two boxers shaking hands before the fight begins!

* Wife: Darling today is our anniversary, what should we do?
Husband: Let us stand in silence for 2 minutes.

Hide and Seek by Scientists

Once all the scientists die and go to heaven...
They decide to play hide-n-seek.........
Unfortunately Einstein is the one who has the den...
He is supposed to count upto 100...and then start
searching.....
Everyone starts hiding except Newton.........
Newton just draws a square of 1 meter and stands in
it right in front of
Einstein...........
Einstein's counting......97,98,99.....100........
He opens his eyes and finds Newton standing in
front........
Einstein says "newton's out..newton's....out....."
Newton denies and says i am not out........
He claims that he is not Newton......
All the scientists come out to see how he proves
that he is not
Newton..........
Newton says "I am standing in a square of area 1m
squared.....
That makes me Newton per meter squared......
since one Newton per meter squared is one Pascal,
I'm Pascal, Therefore Pascal is OUT !!!!!!!!"

most common mistakes people make on job interviews

Here are 10 of the most common mistakes people make on job interviews:

Not taking the interview seriously

Don't make the mistake of thinking the interview is just a formality. Even if all the preliminaries have gone well, don't be cavalier and start imagining how you'll start spending your new salary. The biggest error you can make is to assume that, because you've gotten this far, the job is in the bag.

Dressing

How you present yourself during your initial meeting with a potential employer is very important, and your physical appearance can speak volumes to someone who is meeting you for the first time. Even if you know that the firm allows employees to wear jeans, don't sabotage yourself by showing up to the interview in casual clothing. Err on the side of conservative and show up in neat, professional clothing, preferably a business suit.

Not showing why you're the best choice

Be familiar with the job description of the position you're interviewing for so you can illustrate how your experience, abilities, and strengths are in line with the company's needs. Many potential employers want to know why they should hire you specifically. Make it clear to them.

Being too modest

Failing to talk yourself up during an interview is one of the most self-defeating mistakes you can make. This is not the time for humility, so sing your praises! Don't be afraid to talk up everything you've accomplished, whether in school or in previous companies. This is your time to shine.

Talking too much

Be careful not to talk over the interviewer. This meeting should be a two-way conversation, and many interviewees cover up their nervousness by blathering on. Sit calmly and listen carefully, answering questions thoughtfully.

Focusing on the funds

Don't start talking about money too soon into the interview. Focusing on your salary requirements and previous salary history right off the bat may cause you to reveal too much. While the topic of salary will certainly come up, follow the interviewer’s lead. He or she may be saving that topic for a later conversation.

Trash talking

Even if you hated your former boss or felt you were treated unfairly by your previous employer, a job interview is not the place to launch into a litany of complaints. Don't go there. If you were laid off or fired from a previous position, be prepared with an explanation that puts a positive spin on the circumstances.

Failing to ask questions

Your résumé may be impressive on paper, but employers also appreciate a candidate who can ask several intelligent questions during an interview. Prepare at least 3 or 4 questions in advance to ask the interviewer. Interviews are an exchange of information, and not having questions to ask can reveal a lack of preparation.

Lack of enthusiasm

This is your first and sometimes only chance to showcase your personality. Don't walk in announcing how you're having a bad day. Be polite and upbeat. Show your enthusiasm for both the job and the opportunity to interview for it. And don't forget to thank the person at the end of the interview!

Forgetting the follow-up

Make sure to send a handwritten thank-you note or polite email to the interviewer expressing gratitude for his or her time and consideration. And while you don't want to start calling the company on a daily basis, a phone call checking in a week after the interview is perfectly acceptable.
